I caved and went ahead and ordered the new Klim sport touring Apex jacket. It came in today and I'm quite happy with it. Fits awesome, seems well made, and seems like it'll breathe well.
No one has told Florida that it is fall yet so it's still in the 80-90s every day so I'll take the bike out this week and see how it holds up in the heat. All ride reports say there isn't much buffeting, but I don't see how that'll be possible with all these huge vents open. We shall see.
