There's two trip meters, you know, and holding down a button sets it to zero.

What's your point? You still have to reset one of them, to know how many miles you went from your last fill up.
 
I like monitoring gages. Picked it up from flying airplanes. I'm not trying to front on your style. I simply didn't know if you knew there are two.
If you did travel long distance especially to the Texas desert you'd be watching that gage I'm sure of it.

Yea that is for sure. There are spots on 90 heading west towards Big Bend where the stops are far and few, although it's gotten better in the past few years. More people like going 90 instead of I-10 just to enjoy the ride and avoid the highway insanity.
