Hi everyone!
I just picked up a white hyperstrada two days ago after jumping through many, many hoops for the past 3 weeks. It was worth the wait! I was just going to drive it straight home (a 150km drive) but it somehow ended up turning into a 375km scenic extraviganza haha.
I have owned a late 80's Yamaha Seca 750 prior to this bike, about 12 years ago. The HS isn't even in the same category, no comparison. I put about 1500km on a 1200GS not too long ago, and was having a hard time deciding between that or a Hypermotard. Then I got into a car accident (I was T-boned) and had to take some serious time to heal a knee injury so put the idea on the back burner. About a month ago I figured I'd look at bikes, and what do I see but the HS!!! I didn't even sit on one before I had the dealer pull one out of the crate haha and I wasn't wrong about it.
Anyways there's my big ol intro, I'm glad to be part of the HS world!
