I finally pulled the trigger on a 2015 Hyperstrada, thanks mostly to the information on this site. So thank you! Now the hardest part begins - waiting for positive degree temps and a good rainstorm to wash the salt off the roads so I can try it out:
Any tips on rejuvenating the unpainted black plastic pieces such as the tank cover, front fender and beak? They all seem to be a bit faded (maybe the previous owner left it out in the sun a lot?).
Also, I know that only one fork has the spring and damping, but is there anything in the other that needs servicing? I have a slight weeping in the right fork, and just wondering if I need to bother opening up the left one at the same time.
EDIT: Nevermind, sorry I was wrong - there are springs in both, but only the right has damping.
