You know you have found a great road when there is this sign:

Fun exploring roads few ever find.

Roads with views like this. 70 mile mountain ridge top ride.

So easy to bring the little Hyperstrada across the country like this. Let's me focus on the important things, like these kind of roads.

More great pics of our secret roads. So you load up your pick up then get somewhere, off load and do Day Loops in the area? That's a good strategy!

I like riding those roads with a few other riders. Great way to work on skills ... following the better rider ahead of me. Should be easy to keep up riding the Strada.

Stay safe! We had a guy go off Forks of Salmon or Sawyer's bar one year. Thank God he was mostly unhurt and his BMW RT not too bad either! (still rideable!) Took six guys and a tow truck to pull it back onto the road. 100% concentrate on that road!

I carry the Hyperstrada to central hotels and ride loops. This ride our loops were from Fortuna and now Ukiah.

Central Valley is too hot. Back to the coast.

2,100+ miles and 8 days later and I've learned a lot more about the Hyperstrada. New seat for long days is next purchase.

RSL I'm having Renazco Racing build a new seat with the Ducati Racing Seat pan. Did the same with my CRF250l and it is now an all day seat. I'll let folks know how it turns out.

Yea, love to hear feed back on how Renazco does rebuilding your seat. He's right near me in Santa Rosa area.

I'm interested in what you guys come up with. Like many, I'd like more room to move fore and aft, but actual seat is not too bad.

I'd hate to ruin the aesthetics and lines of the bike with stock seat. It's really quite beautiful. But comfort is high priority too.

Hope it can be done. Renazco is a favorite among the KTM crowd around here.
I've ridden a couple KTM ADV's he did ... hated them. My Corbin on my DR650 is a true 8 hour seat. The Renazco was hurting in an hour. Don't know how James is doing these days ... my experiences was like 7 years ago or so.

I've noticed the body work up by the tank pushes my legs OUTWARD too far.
Not sure if anything can be done about that. Needs to be narrower there.

But overall, for me my seat is not too bad. Longest ride so far, 4 hours with a fuel stop. But this on GOOD roads which keep you thinking about riding, not
butt pain :D

Good luck to you both, love to hear results and feedback on seats!

I started hurting after about 2-3 hours on the stock journey seat. No place to really move as you are locked in. Bought the race seat as it allows much more movement. I can last only about an 1-2 hours as its so hard. I'm scheduled for Renazco first week of August. Been on the wait list for 3 weeks now. Think I'll switch back to the stock journey in the meantime.
