Having the proper spring rates will keep the bike elevated when seated.

I also noted how the seated elevation was higher. More importantly, I've noticed how much better the bike keeps hard parts from rubbing on the pavement when leaned over. Probably similar to the SP, but for different reasons.

As much as I complain about the overly aggressive SP suspension, that's one thing that's never been an issue. I usually scrape pegs on my bikes, but not the hyper. I ride all the way to the edge of the tire, through big dips and whatnot - never touched down any hard parts. Maybe the track is a different story.
 
The Ohlins TTX36 and the Mupo K911's have arrived. I ordered a set of Rosso III's as well. Rented a Triumph Street Triple in Vegas last week which had the Rosso's on it. They were so good I had to put some on the 939!

I'll post some pics when the installation is complete.
I don't know if you are on here still, but I bought your old strada this last week. Super clean bike and in tip top shape, except the rear Brembo was trashed and spewing fluid. You did a good job on the suspension, I don't know your weight but it felt super soft as I am 190lbs so I cranked up pre-load and compressoin in the front to keep it from diving under braking. It would hit the stops harshly before that.
 
Went full Nitron and they are a huge improvement. They make stuff specific to the HS and its different suspension heights. Excellent and my nechanic had no problem getting them. Also, if you are having high speed instability, check your front bearings. I was having issues around 80 - 85 with bags, and with new bearings no more problems. They were really shot.
