Quick ride in the Ozarks today. Chased a rabbit on a Ducati too.

Plenty of fun ups & downs and twisty roads in the Ozarks.

I tend to focus on this section:

Though the area is a lot larger than these maps.

Local spots to stop in for breakfast of lunch:

If you are an eastern rider, there is this area with far less traffic:

It's been fun exploring these backroads over the last two decades.

BTW: They like motorcycles there.

That suspension bridge in Beaver, AR was the test model proving the design for the Golden Gate Bridge.

Many times you will find a lot of other riders in the Ozarks as there are so many gatherings of all types through the riding months.

Sometime ago, one of your posts inspired me to look into this region. Looks fantastic. Good camping too?

For me Holiday Inn is camping, but from what many have said there is a great deal of private camping, RV spots, Forest Service camping and down by Mena is a huge camping facility owned by CMA.

Just got back to MN from a trip to Texas. We rode through the Ouachita and Ozarks. Very highly recommended. It was very unfortunate that all of the good roads we took were either wet @ raining, or dense fog.

The Talimena Scenic Byway was on our list too, but the dense fog had us rerouting.
