I was checking my tire pressure the other night and randomly decided to check my rear wheel/swingarm for bearing play. I was surprised to feel a slight clunk in the wheel. Maybe 1mm at the edge of the rim.
Turns out, my axle nut (the 41mm nut on the LEFT side of the axle, near the sprocket) was loose. Like... hand tight! The only thing holding it on was the retaining clip. I have never taken this nut off before or messed with the sprocket. Currently at 13k miles.
It's worth giving it a check. The torque spec is 115ft-lbs.
