Quick Hyperstrada Community Update

I've been on a long motorcycle trip these last few weeks, and have another 9 days left on my journey before I'm back full time in front of a computer.

I apologize for the lack of responding to the reported posts. I've cleaned up all the spambots and have banned their IP addresses.

I'm going to make sure I continue monitoring the forum in the meantime to take care of anymore spam that may make it through.

All that said, in a couple weeks, I plan to make some upgrades to the forum, to include adding a few moderators to the team.

If anyone needs to reach me directly, my email address is [email protected] and that goes directly to my mobile phone.

Again, my sincere apologies for the spambot attack. I'll continue to monitor the forum as I finish up my motorcycle trip.

I agree. I get on here every morning and delete the spam and ban their IP addresses.

I've made changes to how new users signup, as a few spambots still seem to make it through. I'm looking into other options...

Trust me, I want to stop the spam completely. I'm cleaning it up every day.

Same here, I think I'd enjoy banning spam bots..

A suggestion to limit the amount of spam here would be to make the first few posts on every account needing a moderators approval for it to show up.
