Radiator guard

I didn't even put crash bars on my Super Tenere, sure not going to put them on this little bugger. In fairness tho, the Super Tenere has bumpers that are plenty strong to take a dive. I went with sliders on the Multi12 and this bike also.

I'm still waiting for my dealer to get the radiator guard I ordered the first week of June and now finally see that Cox Racing has now listed the radiator guard for the Hyperstrada. 821 Hyperstrada Hypermotard

I've been told by my dealer that the Multistrada radiator guard is too big for the Hyperstrada so I'm glad that it finally looks like I should have a radiator guard soon. Where I ride, Texas hill country, you really need the radiator guard and I've been lucky so far.

Just installed the Evotech rad guard on my Hyperstrada and it's sweet! Cost was $119 and free freight from MCmotorcycleparts on their ebay store.

Fitted the same kit to mine the other week, incl bar ends and wheel spindle sliders.
The radiator guard came with two bits of sticky foam but couldn't see where they would be of any use.
Did you fit them??
Also R&G sent me a free padded helmet bag due to the delay in sending parts out.

I used one of the foam strips cut in to 8 bits and stuck them to the edge of the rad guard to form a sort of cushion between the rad and the guard.

Mark.

R&G for me, fits well. I cut the foam and stuck 3 pieces to each edge between the guard and the radiator.

Correct, these are only frame sliders.

No!

They are not for the Hyperstrada they are for the Multi12, to my knowledge no one make anything like it for the Hyper.

Email ALT Rider and ask them to make some for the Hyper!!!

Yes. I put Evotech Performance radiator and engine guard and their short adjustable levers on. They all fit great and the engine guard really tidies up the look and does a great job of protecting the front cyclinder from all the road crap. I will put some pics up later today. My wife has a radguard on her MT07, they make one for the Hyperstrada too. Cheers.
