Update on Rapidbike Easy: Got the first ride out today after fitting the Rapidbike Easy fuel module. What a BIG difference it makes in low and midrange - smooths everything out and makes the bike much better to ride. As expected, fuel consumption has increased and I am getting about 10-12 mpg (UK gallons) less after fitting the module but can live with that for the positive difference in rideability in the closed loop region of power output. Overall, I am very happy with this mod and can recommend it.
Settings are +1 and +3 as recommended by Rapidbike. The riding was more spirited I must admit...lol.What setting are you running the unit in? One other factor to your mpg loss could perhaps be contributed by being a bit spirited with the throttle, knowing it has more vrooom vrooom
