Rapidbike shift assist

Those with the rapidbike evo/race and the additional shift assist module, what do you have your settings set at? I just hot mine installed and took it for a spin. It's really cool but feels a little too sensitive. What are your settings? Sensitivity, rpm, duration, etc. Thank you.

After days at the milling machine and 3 failed attempts at making an arm that pivots on the middle(the last wasnt officially a failure. I got it all together with the sensor mounted to the arm and it feels far too heavy being past the main pivot for my liking) I came across a couple guys on the web that showed their modified OEM arms as well as another guy what has some odd looking bracket(I didnt screen shot that one). This is how I have mine for now. I will powder coat it all when I get access to an oven again. I took a billet piece of 6065 aluminum and cut a chunk off then brazed it to the pivot block. Works good, just wish it was more pretty. Maby the PC will make it look nicer. Also , McMaster Carr has any haim joints you need. The sensor is threaded for both left & right hand thread on both sides. If you look in the threads they cross over eachother. I never seen that before but both the Left hand threaded ends and right hand threaded ends fit in both sides. They are only $6ish each and very nice quality.

The lever I have is the cheap Chinese lever. I machined a new shorter lever . It's pretty thick and made of 6065 so it wont easily bent then crack like the OEM cast lever that came with the bike. The lever is very easy to make and replace should anything happen to it but I would like for the tip to be folding. I dont feel I'm competent enough to make and sell anything. I just mess around in my garage for fun. I am willing to bet that the Chinese lever adjusted as far down as it can go will have enough room for the sensor by itsself. With the lever I made I went away with the 3 position adjust holes. You could switch to GP shift pattern and not need to get new parts(I think). I went back to find the other guys levers that I was talking about and cant find them. They cut the ear off the OEM lever, rotated it back and brazed it back in.

Just one way. I wanted the other one but after talking to RB it is not comparable with the 821 13-15 bikes. I was skeptical and asked if it has just not been verified with those bikes and they assured me that it will not work with the 821 13-15. LOL

I bought mine used. It came from a Suzuki GSXR. I contacted RB and they said it would work just fine for me. I assumed it is the one way shifting that I bought. Paid $180 shipped. Temps finally were in the 30°s F today so i adjusted the sensitivity and went for a ride. It was set at 0 originally. If my foot touched the lever it would activate. The book said 40 is where it is from the factory . I set it at 35 and it feels pretty good. I can touch the lever without it activating. That is how I want it bit I feel I will mess with it some more. LOL. I tend to fiddle too much. Yamen at RB had to bail me out a couple times over the past year or 2.
