remove and replace battery

Any Hyper riders out there with a link or video to the proper procedure for swapping out a battery?

1. Remove seat
2. Disconnect terminals, Ground first. I like to put a ziptie through the similar leads so I don't lose one.
3. Remove securing strap under ECU. It's a rubber stirrup that holds the ECU and battery tray together.
4. Pull battery (leave plastic battery tray and just pull the battery out)
5. Reverse for install

The only trick is getting the tie down strap on - put tension on it, press the metal ring into place, THEN pull the strap over the top hook. Only took me 6 years....

You can also lever a flat head screwdriver through the strap end and slide it over the hook. Lithium batteries are much smaller so I don't really have this issue.

I did the opposite and found it easier on my end. Replaced my battery today. I pulled rubber strap upward and attached to the bracket the blackbox is mounted to then pushed the chromish ring downward to engage and add final tension. It felt like the black strap secures it and the chrome ring is a tensioner of sorts.

it sure is a tensioner - what you described has never worked for me and I'm sort of average. But there's only 2 ways so everyone can find their bliss.
