Hello all. Just got a 2013 Hyperstrada 821, and love it. Random question. Not sure if it's the anti theft system, but here and there while parked it makes a quiet mooing sound, as if it's a hydraulic releasing pressure. Any thoughts. PURA VIDA

It's the fuel system.

Shortly after I bought mine, I went on a long road trip, in one of the stops, I had the bike in the room sleeping next to me so it wouldn't stay outside, and the sound puzzled me for a few days.

Fuel tank vent. Normal sound, but also quite funny.

It is a Costa Rica option for all the cows and cattle in the country.
