Safely propping up my Hyperstrada without Paddock Stand

Hyper is due for a pair of new boots so I will take the wheels off and to the bike shop.

Does anyone have any tips for safely propping the bike up on centrestand with both wheels off?

I don't have a paddock stand but have assorted blocks, jacks, and a beam in the garage I could stabilise (probably not lift) the bike.

I'm sure I'm not the first - any suggestions?

Cheers all.

Yes Al.
Not a problem.
Put it on the centre stand, put a block of wood under the front cylinder head (not the cover - although there's not much weight on it)
Jack it up on that.

Lift the front wheel and give it a shake - it should be quite stable at that - well balanced and not much effort to lift it on the jack.
If you were paranoid, you might tie the centre stand forward to stop it being pushed off.

Don't forget to loosen the nuts and bolts first while it is on the sidestand.
Bob's your uncle!
