No better with Rapid Bike EVO

Thanks gatdammit. I'll grab a 14mm crowsfoot and give that a go.

I'm going to get a quote for the exhaust pipe welding for new larger size o2 ports. Not sure how much that will but i can't do it myself. Looks like the front will be straightforward. kuksul08, from the looks of the rear port photo did you 'just' replace the existing one?

No my stock one was further up and to the left.
I believe in later years they ended up moving the O2 to exactly where I put mine.

Another ride today and unfortunately it's worse again. Now it's twitchy up at 80mph on the motorway. I'll have to get the laptop rigged up to the EVO to see what is going on before venturing out again.

I really do think this is a mechanical issue, not due to engine mapping. Something in the throttle/fuel deliver realm

You could well be right. It's a difficult one to troubleshoot. I will look at swapping out the throttle to the newer version to see if that makes a difference. It does rotate maybe 1/8 to 1/6 of a revolution before it engages. It's got a bit of slop. Not sure how much of that is supposed to be there. It's not a huge expense to test. Other parts however i'm sure are expensive and not easily swapped out to test.

ok. That's very useful. I did think that it wasn't quite right given that it's a fly by wire motor. I'll check what version mine is and make contact with the Ducati part's site i've found here in the UK and see if they know what if any differences there are between the different versions or part numbers. I would imagine if the part numbers have changed that there is some difference. That's good though thanks, maybe a simple solution to the issue.

Yea that throttle shouldn't have any slop. In fact I've heard that complaint that it has no slop therefore is not 'normal' like a cable throttle.
