I think this is actually pretty cool. So my fuel light came on this morning and I was a good 10 miles into "trip fuel". I parked the bike on an slight incline. When I fired it up later, I noticed the incline had caused the remaining fuel to wash back over the sensor and extinguish the low fuel light.
Nothing shocking there, but then it hit me: but I was how many miles into trip fuel? I got a little nervous as I couldn't quite remember and I ran some errands in between. Trip fuel disappeared from dash options, too.
As I rolled away, the light came back on and after a few seconds, trip fuel counter came back with the original mileage count from earlier. That's a pretty sweet feature they built in and I'd have some stressful days if it just defaulted to 0.0 each time the light came back on.
