Hey boys. Good day. I’m new in the group. Please bear with me. idk if its already posted or not. but i cant find it. Anyway. I got a 2015 standard hyperstrada 821. stanchion / fork tubes are bent. I’ve been searching all over the net. it got me confused. Strada and motard share almost everything. but when it comes to the fork. they’re a bit different. I tried searching the part numbers. some say motard stanchion fits. some doesnt. Well my question is. Is any one of you guys tried to install a hypermotard 821 stanchion to a standard hyperstrada 821 with andreani strada cartridge? I dont have access with strada stanchions where i am now. all they sell is for stradas. My question is. Will Hypermotard 821 stanchions fit standard hyperstrada 821? with hyperstrada andreani fork cartridge. (not low version) Thank you guys. all comments and suggestions are welcome. thanks again.

If you're replacing the forks I'd keep an eye out for SP parts as that'd be a nice upgrade

Look them up here: Ducati Omaha - Ducati OEM Parts Ordering - Diagrams- Ducati Parts

The 1st gen Strada/ Motard have different part #'s for forks. Could just be spring rate/ valving. You'd have to investigate.

That’s what i did. tried to search the part number for strada stanchion tube. it shows that it will fit both strada and motard. but when i search part number of motard stanchion. it doesnt show that it fits. It’s a bit confusing. all the ducati or ducati parts sites say different things. I measured my old bent stanchion. its roughly around 580mm in length. And I saw motard stanchion length is 580mm aswell. and they are both 43mm diameter.

Looks like there's a 2013 being parted out. Double check that the triple clamp isn't also needed (I'm not sure) but this'd be a nice upgrade - EB793 2013 13 DUCATI HYPERMOTARD SP 821 RH RIGHT SUSPENSION FORK | eBay

Hey bro. yea i saw that one. but it’s only right forj leg. im not really after to changing the whole fork set up. i’m just trying to replace my bent stanchion. and lucky i got a new cartidge to go in it. i just want a cheaper option to fix my bike.

(EDIT) All they sell here where I am is only Hypermotards. And a replacements stanchions from TNK and other sellers are Motards.

I would think if the triple tree's and brake mounts are identical, then would have to be the same and it's just the dampening that's different. The HS dampening/ spring rate is definitely different than HM.

I’m talking about the stanchion tube bro. not the actual fork housing. Im just not sure if the inner for tubes of hypermotard fits hyperstrada.
