Good morning! I've had my Hyperstrada for a couple of weeks now & have done around 1000 miles. I've still only got 7000 revs to play with, but OMG...This is the most fun, engaging and exhilarating bike I've owned. Just love it! I now wish I'd bought the SP and fitted the 'strada components!

And here's a little video review (more to come) :

Off for a ride now,

Cheers,

Phil.

Welcome, and welcome review too. Exactly my perspective too on the riding. Seating was fixed by switching to the Ducati Race Seat.

Great fun having switched from a giant bike to the "tiny" Hyper.

Suspension issues are resolved easily.

Thanks and great to be here. And yes, it's the size and the lack of weight that I'm really enjoying - so nimble and frisky. Can't wait to get to the Alps in a few weeks time. Cheers, Phil.

Congratulations and a great review review. We look forward to more. Yes the Race seat does give you more room to move around and not be locked into one position.

Congrats Phil on taking the plunge and getting to enjoy one of the most unique motorcycles around. I say that having only ridden an 821 version for about 100km, but I have a 939 on order (the Ducati factory closes all through August), and have been waiting for my bike since May. Hyperstradas are order-only in NZ and Aus, although motards can be bought off the floor. So your little vid was a sight for aching eyes and I look forward to more.

Thanks lomax & toe slider...I might just try the race seat at some point, although having said that I'm finding the HS seat really comfortable and the feeling of being locked in, while a little odd initially, now just seems to work.

Went out this morning on a great road which usually exhausts me as it's really twisty with lots of blind rises and single width bridges..On the HS though I got to the end and came back the same way with no aches. Brilliant + it's been a public holiday in the UK & the weather has been great! I also got some nice footage for Part 2 of the review which should be up in a few weeks time. Here's a quick screen grab though.

Cheers,

Phil.
