Hi, my bike came with a MotoPower Mini USB Outlet connected to the GPS SAI connection. I got it work once. So I decided to buy another one and got the exact same one because I messed up. So this time, the fuse was blown and I replaced the fuse. I tested the power have have a solid 12V coming out of the SAE into the USB. Even new one will not get recognized by my phone. WTFFFFF? Any ideas how to get this working or what a better product might be? THANKS!

Ok, I had to get a different testing device. THere is or appears to be sufficient amp out of the USB port (I don't have another device to plug in). FOr the second time, the phone would recognize and charge ONCE. Then never again!

Is your phone an iPhone? If so, it is most likely a compatibility issue with the supply and device.

Apple effectively "licenses" the technology to other manufacturers to make charging cables and power supplies compatible with their devices.

Powerlet was having similar issues a few years ago. When I called them to inquire, I learned they were just getting licensed through Apple. A few months later, I bought another Powerlet adapter that said it was Apple compatible, and lo and behold, it was.

Pilot3, I have determined this "must" be the issue after extensive troubleshooting. My IPhone 6+ won't work nor my roommates 10. What product are you using with your iPhone?

I needed to adapt from the Hella 12v plug to lightning plug. Went with Powerlet. This was a few years ago as well so I'd imagine by now that all of Powerlet's products are compatible. I haven't needed this for a while though.

Scroll about halfway down on the page here. That's the iPhone specific stuff but lots of options. I'd just call or email to confirm Apple compatibility, specifically your model. The site lists some of the older phones so hopefully they're current.
