Waterlogged seat

I have to leave the bike parked in the open sometimes and the Indian Monsoon can be pretty wet. The seat soaks up water and the water squishes out when I sit on the bike and can soak into my pants pretty quickly. Did anyone have a similar issue and other than a bikini rain cover, is there any other solution to this issue ? Maybe a spray or a coating that can mitigate the water absorption ?

Not used it on the seat but on my boots, Tarrago NanoTech spray is really good.
Stinks to high heaven when you're spraying and wears off eventually but it should do the job.

Hex,
I rode my stock seat in the rain a lot in FL and it was pretty resistant to water. I used to be able to walk up, swipe the standing water off the seat, and wouldn't get a soaked bum.

Leaking stitches

It is not the fabric of the seat. Rather it is the stitching that seems to let the water out which spreads slowly over my pant seat. I tried rubbing a wax stick over the stitching but that wears off pretty quick. I have ordered a 3M Scotch Gaurd outdoor fabric waterproofing spray and I'll update the thread after I try it.
My town has an average rainfall of 26 " ( 674mm ) for August and this year has been a third higher. If all else fails, I may get a half cover which may be a better option for the Indian Monsoon.

Half cover is probably not a bad idea anyway, I'm not sure I'd want the bike constantly getting soaked for the sake of corrosion and the electrical bits.
