With the Thanksgiving holiday happening in America, what Ducati motorcycle are you most thankful for?

Was there a particular Ducati motorcycle from your younger years that you admired or wanted? Maybe you first saw it on the street or at a motorcycle show?

Or is there a Ducati motorcycle you are thankful to have today?

Interesting question! Although I don't often ride it these days, I'd have to say my ST4. At the time of acquiring it, it was surely the ideal Ducati for me, being inspirational and plenty fast enough and a genuine time machine for distance travel. I've since tried various Monsters and been rather unimpressed, and brief acquaintance with the sports bikes like the 888 and 999 proved they just weren't my thing. The ST4 has since had plenty of mods to make it more comfortable to ride. However, the HyperStrada is simply exciting and stylish, and I love it to bits! I suppose it demonstrates how much my tastes diverge from Ducati ethos in that both models were dropped from production before their time IMO.

Love this question! I'm most thankful for the original 916. I remember exactly where I was the first time I clapped eyes on one. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. After the bulbous jap bikes of that era this thing was from the future. What a machine and still looks good today!

Second the 916 as it was the first Duc I saw in person and fell in love. The SBK/ GP circuit from that time was epic.

I'd agree that the 916 was/is a stunning bike, but one I was never involved with personally. The first Ducatis that caught my attention were the exquisite singles way back when I was barely out of school. As a biking returner in later life, the one to hook me was the Pantah with that beautiful vee-twin engine, but not the sports version; rather dressed as a street-bike in Cagiva's excellent Alazzurra. That's a bike I still own and love too, though it led me on to a full-blooded Ducati, the ST4.

I hope our stateside brothers have had a happy thanksgiving weekend.
The 916 is an absolute design icon. So thank you Mr Tamburini for that.
For me - I am very thankful for this Hyper. My first (definitely not the last) Ducati has so much - agility, beauty, power, character, fun, toys, luggage, a centrestand cor blimey!
It's really turned me on to the virtues of Ducati - the quality and finish and that lovely 90 degree lump.
