What have you done to your Hypermotard 698 today?

Got the mirrors sorted out finally. With the OEM hand guards they still vibrate but I'd say not quite as bad as original mirrors. But I will swap the hand guards at some point anyway, and get something with a metal brace..

What bolts did you use to plug the hole where the OEM mirror used to be? I am having a hard time finding one that looks as clean as yours.

Thank you!

Does the Mono completely fit onto the Pickup (other pictures please)? What Pickupis it? Thanks.

In case you haven't already done it, set the suspensions settings to exactly as shown in the owner's manual to "Road Sport". It's fantastic. I set the DWC to 1 and ABS to 1 and left it in sport mode. 1700 miles on mine so far. Rode a bunch of gravel road yesterday. The bike doesn't care about the pavement, it just flies through it all.

Have not gotten that far yet but I will take your suggestions. Headed to Tennessee Tuesday and bringing the bike along for some twisty mountain riding.
Thanks

Orish im headed to Tennessee to ride for a week and the bike is back in the truck. You had asked for more pix, hope this helps. I want to get rid of those chicken strips also. 🤪IMG_3075.jpegIMG_3074.jpegIMG_3073.jpegIMG_3074.jpegIMG_3075.jpegIMG_3074.jpegIMG_3073.jpeg

1700 miles later, my OEM rear tire is pretty much gone..

99% twisty miles. About 30 miles of unpaved / gravel road. Always ran factory recommended pressure (2.5 bar F/R). Might need to calm down a bit when I twist the throttle.. ughh..

The 160/60s are $200+ for the Pirelli Rosso 4s.

One of the bolt that holds the exhaust heat shield fell off. Replaced both with slightly longer screws. Used blue Loctite and a small washer. Hopefully it stays in place.

Wow.
If you go steady with the right hand, you might get it down to only 5 sets of tyres between oil changes.
(But, Kudos - scrubbing a tyre off in 2600k, sounds like gnarly fun :D )

At last got my final mods completed

1) Installed quick shifter. Ordered in Feb. Showed up last week
2) Installed Belly pan
3) Installed Tail Tidy from Supermofools. It's compact and very nice. For USA license plates, you will have to drill a couple of holes on your plate. No big deal. I was surprised at how heavy the stock tail unit was. I estimate about 2 lbs. Ducati Hypermotard 698 Tail Tidy - Supermofools

Photos of tail. I like to have wide spaced signals these USA drivers want to kill you!
