First time it happened it was at night when I was camping - put a bit of fear in me. I was hoping it was just a moose - although not the best thing to run into at night.

First time it happened it was at night when I was camping - put a bit of fear in me. I was hoping it was just a moose - although not the best thing to run into at night.
Center stand hits speed bumps (we have a lot in the Philippines). Last night I was with my wife and it grazed the road as well when we were leaning on a turn.
just remember to crank up the preload of the rear shock when you take a pillion. my wife is 63 kgs, i give the preload 8-10 clicks
Does anyone know why it makes the moo sound? Mine does it all the time. Even if I haven't ridden it for a month (as in now, in the middle of winter).

Ha ha - first time I heard it I was camping and it was pitch black outside. I grabbed my knife and flashlight ready for whatever was lurking. It was my bike - and no - I didn't stab it.
I think there is a little flap of rubber or something that makes it real farty sounding.
No the gas tank vent is not in the cap. Take off the fuel tank cover and you can see it it's a little blue thing.
Imprecise and twitchy throttle, mushy brakes, non adjustable jackhammer front forks, non hinged gas cap, worst headlight ever, small fuel tank and weird turn signal cancel.
Ground clearance and suspension.on the 821. Pre-load cranked up to near max, removed the centre stand because that was scraping badly, now the gear & brake levers crape the road
