Hello guys...
I need som help with my hypermotard 821 2014 (13000kms OEM).
Lately I have the ABS warning light on while riding.

As I start the engine ABS light on the dash is ON.
I start to ride and after a few seconds ABS light goes OFF (at more than 5 kms/h).
All is well up to this point.

When I am riding and brake a few times relatively hard the ABS light comes ON on the dash.

I don't know where could be the problem. Brake pads are OK, brake fluids Ok. Nothing aparently wrong in the front/back speed sensor...

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

It's either the speed sensors or glitch in the ECU/ ABS controller. I'll say I don't recall any isolated ABS issues on this forum.
1. Did you clean the speed sensors? I've had issues like you describe in cars and it was the sensors.
2. Check wire integrity and connections of sensors
3. Have you tried turning ABS off or different levels?

I tried to clean both speed sensors.
I ll try then the other options yoy gave me...

I'd say for sure it's a speed sensor if the light didn't go off after completing it's test at like 5 mph. Maybe pull the fuse or disconnect the battery? Try scrubbing the motard forum at .ms cause it's definitely not a trending issue here.

I ve found the problem with the abs.
Broken abs cable in its connection to the battery.

new terminal melted to the cable and new bike again...

Faced this issue and it was indeed the broken ABS cable.. fixed. Thanks to this thread.
