Me too. The Aprilla coils were easy to find online and cheap. Switching the connectors was very easy. I just bought the OEM connector off the site they mentioned in that thread and crimped the new pins and inserted them into the connector. I heard maybe the coils from a monster 821 might work? Dont remember.

Coils from the 848, 1098 and 1198 are plug n play. Just ordered a set…no issues with my Beru coils, but I don’t wanna take a chance

Any updates on this topic? Im looking for a good option for my 939 Hyper to get rid of that low end bucking etc. I have a full Akro exhaust on it presently.

Try the Booster Plug. Easy and affordable. If you have a full exhaust and no tuner, probably should lean that way. Get a hi-flow intake, as well.

Correct I dont have a tuner. Are you saying go tuner instead of the Boosterplug? Who makes the Hi-flow intake?

Depends on what you want. The Booster Plug just smooths low rpm fueling by tricking the ECU into making the flow richer (very lean on stock ECU for emission/ noise/ etc.). If you want to play with your own maps and get a quick shifter, get the RB Evo or Race (the Kuksol map in this thread is very good). If you have set mods in mind, can go with Rexxer flash (pipe, intake, cat delete).
If you start modding flow - exhaust, intake - you'll need a tune to unlock the benefit. Even the DP Termi kit came with a flash tuner, which is an option if you can find one, just waaaaay too expensive compared to other options. DP had a higher flow intake kit, which I have. Also did the MWR airbox mod (check my signature for all mods). You can do this yourself. It was just cutting a 5"x4" hole in the airbox and covering with filter material. You might have to fashion a bracket to hold the filter in place. I've since bought my own bulk filter media to replace the old stuff, coated with a thin layer of oil. Biggest immediate thing you can do is shed weight - Li battery, aftermarket exhaust (OEM is a brick), center stand, CF parts.

Hello to everyone, i want to thank each and one of you for the nice topic, i went thru it all , and i learned a lot. Thanks to kuskul for his time and effort put into the project. If my understandings are right, if i cannot find the map file, i can custom put the values that Kuskul posted from his excel table ? If so which cylinder consider rear/front , cylinder 1 - cylinder 2 ? Thank you. I am about to order rapid bike just to be able to fix that low speed nonsense . It was my dream to buy a Ducati Hypermotard 821 and i thought i am buying a nice Italian dialed machine, well , little disappointed in all these fueling issues, but in general i LOVE the bike. Thanks for any input.

Don't know how long you've had the bike, but a couple of things that help:

Make sure the chain is adjusted right - the bike is sensitive, and will have a lot of lash which seems like bad fueling.

Short shift to third when possible - irons things out to some degree.

My main concern is the on/off response coupled with the strong engine braking. I think this is a function of throttle bodies rather than fuel/air mixture.

Also, the clutch modification, spoken about and detailed on another thread, makes the whole machine smoother. No more grabbing and stalling, or sweaty feathering on steep incline starts.

Thank you, i had it for a month now but also 1000 miles, where half of that is City riding, its my daily driver lol. Chain has been cleaned , lubed and adjusted properly. Shift to third does the job but i am not happy with it. Mine is 2015 i don't know if it matters for the clutch but i love it , feels very easy and smooth , it was just as smooth on my Suzuki GSXS, so can't complain there. The other issue is the starter (not denso) but i will wait for it to get worse before i replace it .
Thanks for your input.

Yes - the 2015 has the good clutch. Funny thing about the starter - mine has never been instant power (better with the Lithium battery), but it never has gotten worse over 9 years. Knock on wood. You're in luck with the fueling: Kuksol's information is the best.

Alright ! Finally got the rapid bike, went ahead and installed it. Right away i followed Kuksul directions, and "inputted" the map manually . Changed the settings based on his directions, disabled the auto adaptivity, left the RB02 on, changed the TPMS columns, and the 35x9 rows. Since the download link for the file doesn't work, i had to put the values my self, hope i inputted the values correctly and by that i mean, CYL 1 on RAPID BIKE i inputted the values for the "Front" cylinder from Kuksul picture and so CYL 2 on RAPID BIKE i inputted the values from "REAR" cylinder from Kuksul Picture.
I also went ahead and calibrated the TPS to 0.64 MIN, 4.45 MAX . Volts
Bike feels overall smoother, and possibly torqier on the higher rpms and gears.
The issue i am having though is again between 3000-4000 rpms, its very hard to ride there, jerks pretty bad, before i installed the rapid bike i had booster plug for the past 2 months and honestly made the bike feel very nice, i am a but hurt and wanted to fix my ambient temperature reading so i bought the rapid bike, and was hoping to achieve most of yours results with that tune , but for some reason the bike doesn't like that rpms range.
New plugs, new K&N Filter , booster plug removed of course. I am open to suggestions, thank you !

Is it that the exhaust servo driven valve is still operating?
I had a remap which eliminated that and smoothed out the low rev's.
I'm not sure if the RapidBike does that or not . . .

Hello:
I have bought an 821 Hyperstada and the previous owner had removed the Lambda sensors and installed the sensor eliminators. I bought new lambda and I want to install them. Does anyone have the diagram of which lambda sensor connects to which plug?
Thank you,
