My device is nothing more than a thermistor <1$£€ electonic part with a different value which replaces the original front and intake air temp sensors. Both these front (ambient) air temp sensor and the intake air temp sensor are thermistors (equal value).
Conclusions so far with engine warmed up and running idle:
A: Front air temp sensor
Outside air temp +5C (for reference)
Fooled air temp (10k thermistor) -19C
Short term fuel % trim +5%
B: Intake air temp sensor
Outside air temp 6C (for reference)
Fooled air temp (10k thermistor) -15C
Short term fuel % trim +2,35%
To be checked
C: Intake air temp sensor
Outside air temp ? (for reference)
Fooled air temp target (approx 30k resistor) -19C
Short term fuel % trim to be determined
My assumption is that test situation A and C both should give the same result: STFT +5%.
