Chipped paint job

I lied! Just looked at my policy, and I have to pay the first $625 of any claim! Insurance cover is not so good here in Thailand. I'm guessing you maybe pay similar but get better cover. Saying that, I have found insurance companies surprisingly amicable to deal with here.

Yup... you've beaten me on that Hypertan.

However, you can buy accessories and gear for half price of what we can buy here in Bangkok. Bought my Schuberth in Regina (Jalan Besar) for basically exactly half of the Bangkok price. I always buy my gear, and bits and bobs in Singapore. Prices much much cheaper. Selection much bigger.

That's somewhat comparable to our insurance rates and system. However, they de-value your bike to 60% yet re-sale values are very high?

The dealership here in Vietnam are a joke. The service dept. here are nothing but a grease pit with unqualified wanta be mechanics. Can't believe Ducati would allow this. I hear so many complaints all the time, and they have lost potential new buyers. 22k for a new HS here gentlemen, and they don't have the same same as the modles in America. Then you have to have a special license just to ride them.
