Christmas early this year ?

My 2014 Hyperstrada came down with the Christmas on the dashboard celebrations. It says CAN Line Error. Bike won't start. I had to disconnect the battery to turn off the turn signals as they remained on and blinking even after removing the key.
This sucks. The Dealer says they will fix it (for free I hope ) but that does not address all the days I'll have to wait to ride it again.
Back to the Duke 390 for me.

My model was supposed to have the 'fixed' ECU according to the dealer. Apparently , the TSB did not apply to this VIN. Looks like someone was wrong.
