Ducati hypermotatd 821 SP 2013

Hi there , my name is Julian . 29 years old from belgium . I know this is the hyperstrada forum but i have a quick question aboit my hypermotard , i sold it recently for 5000 euro with 47900 km. I get the feeling i sold it way to cheap. I cant do anything about it anymore but i keep thinking about it. If i look at the market they go for around 8000 euro no matter what the mileage is. Wich is weird since i bought it for 7500 euro , 2 years ago. Are they going up in value or what is going on here ?

In the UK, I bought my 2013 HS for £6K several years ago and the prices still seem to be around or slightly below that now. Don't confuse what sellers ask for with the price they sell at!

The SP tends to go for a few thousand more than the strada or base motard. If it was in good shape you might have been able to get a bit more for it, but that model year also had it's issues with the clutch and potential ECU issues so it's not an unreasonable price given the mileage.

I've spent more on parts and upgrades than it's worth. I crossed that threshold years ago. Hopefully it reaches some collector status in 20 years cause mines not going anywhere.

I've decided to buy a 950 SP in a couple of years from now. Upgrades are so nice to do but always a waste of money if you ever want to sell it. Mine was full of them when i bought it. I somehow regret selling it , but decided i want to try the new 950 anyway.
