Hi all,
Selling a V1 kit of my custom hyper lights that was previously installed on my bike for around 900-1000 miles. I have discounted the price due to there being some minor wear and tear on them, but it's still a very functional great looking kit.

Price is $400 + paypal + shipping, about 40% off the price of a new V2 kit.

Love my set of these.

You planning to sell your Hyper, Kuksul?

:) Glad you still like them.

Most likely I will be selling it within the year. I really love it in a way, but I've accepted that it's not really the bike for me. It's a shame to sell it after fixing all its quirks and making custom lights for it, so that's what is keeping me from selling sooner.

I feel the same way about my Strada. Would miss many of the farkles I've added, and right now there's not much out there that I think would replace it.

And then there's the rather poor resale value...although my buddy's Streetfighter 848 is worse.

Agree, resale value sucks for a seller, but great if your in the market for 2nd hand bike.
Decided mines a keeper and going to see how may miles I can get on it.
Its my main daily ride, but do have a couple of others for fun too.

I'm pretty happy with my Hypermotard and it's currently my only bike. I need to figure out the reason it still occasionally goes into limp mode (I suspect a splice in the harness as suggested in another thread, but as it only happens every so often I've been to lazy to sort it out). Aside from that, I'll eventually upgrade the suspension, and maybe look into tuning the motor. I still get a kick out of it every time I ride it, and I'm looking forward to a big road trip this summer. I've thought about other options like a Multi, but I prefer a light bike and since I can only really manage one bike, the 'tard is pretty good.

That sucks it's still going into limp mode. Mine only did it once and never again. I've since put on about 400 miles, so who knows.

Resale for any bike is horrible for the original owner. I honestly don't even know what I'd get for mine here in the bay area. I have seen SP's for anywhere from 8 to 12k depending on mileage and mods.

That sucks it's still going into limp mode...

Yeah, it's very random now. Before it had gotten consistent and due to damage the headlight cowel there was tension on the wiring harness. Once I removed that tension it has mostly solved the problem. I'm sure it's either a bad crimp where the put in the canbus filters or the factory splice in the harness. I just need to take the time to dig into it. Last ride I did was SF -> Alices -> Pescadero -> Los Altos and back to SF. With multiple stops it only started in limp mode once, so it's definitely random. Despite that quirk I enjoyed the ride thoroughly.

I guess the only upside (for me) about the resale value is that if I ever total this one it won't be too painful to replace.
