Hyperstrada Photo Thread

You bet! My garage is my happy place.
I know that feeling. Mine was too until I lost my house a few months ago. I'm currently planning my escape to Australia to start life afresh - I'll be over in December getting a lie of the land - thank **** I have a passport and some family there so I don't have to worry about visas or a place to stay.

Hopefully, a couple of years from now, I'll be building a house there along with a nice double 'happy space'...

You ever do the SMR? Quite an interesting bunch, but wow what a ride. That road is amazing.

Ha. Didn't know it existed. Interesting, but I am now happily married (to a very understanding lady:)) so I guess I am not welcome there anymore. ;)

What's SMR guys?

Sunday Morning Ride. Up near where coelacanth lives. It's a weekly group ride.

I've only been a few times. Anyone can join but they ride pretty wild. Lots of older ex-racers and whatnot.

Hello from Tasmania (Australia). I just picked up my first Ducati a fortnight ago - a 2013 Hyperstrada. I had to go to Melbourne to buy it because there were none available in Tasmania.

Here are some photos from the arse-end of the world. :)

1. I bought the bike in Melbourne and drove past this bridge as I was riding to the ship to bring it back to Tasmania. Had to stop for a photo.

2. I went for a quick ride around the Channel Hwy yesterday and stopped along the way.

3. Another from yesterday.

Great pictures. Perfect bike to be riding around Tasmania.
I spent 10 days down there last year, best roads i have ridden. Very jealous of you.

Is it just me or am I the only one who sincerely enjoys having a freshly cleaned & lubed chain. She's still got the factory chain & sprocket with just a little over 17,000 km on the odo.

Ever since new I've always used Motul C4 Factory line lube on the rollers, and Motul C5 chain paste on the links.

16' 939. This was yesterday. I've since put the stock can back on.

Basically, the fuelling issues that plagued the 821 (the bucking, choppiness and surging between 3 and 4k in 1st) that the 939 engine resolved - i replicated with a de-catted can. :)

Will eventually get a tune (post warranty) or go the low-termi route.

(oh, and in case anyone was wondering - the Zard weighed 3lbs 14oz and sounded sublime!)
