Took a spur-of-the-moment weekend trip for a family emergency.

Stopped at an award-winning rest area.

On the way back I stopped by a small airstrip.

Oh, and I hit 10,000 miles just as I was getting into a little town along the way. (I can't make it attach the image in portrait mode as it's saved in the computer. Sorry)

Finally had a chance to take the Hyper out for a real ride today. LOVE it!! This thing handles like it's on rails! And the power?!?! Yeah I can't wait to take it out again.

Some pix from my ride today...

I suppose I should join in. Here's a few pics from a roughly 100 mile lap I took around the East Bay last weekend. Some twisty roads, lots of scenic roads, overall a good way to spend a morning.

So since my baby was born in December I haven't gotten in a good ride. When I had time the weather was crap, when the weather was good I was feeling like crap. Today was the first good ride I've had in months. Great weather, minimal traffic, and ran into some good people.

Hydroprinting, looks good

Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk

That's exactly what I've been wanting to do with my black (grey) parts. Especially the tank guard as it's prone to get fuel spots all over it. Was gonna just try my hand at wrapping. Is hydroprinting DIY and affordable?

Cheers

affordable for sure, it cost me 70€ to do that piece (the ducati performance carbon one is 400€...)

DIY, yes, there are a lot of tutorials in youtube, (i prefered a professional to do it..) just depend on your skills and pacience...

you have to take the piece, clean it, prep it, apply it, then lacker it... (lot of things to go wrong...) so, for me, i prefer to pay...

i have to upload a picture of the rest of the pieces

70.00 for all that is a good price. It's a little to glossy for my personal taste. Was there an option for matte finish?

My 13 with a few things including the clutch mod, GuiseppeI intake, BMC filter, Shift-tech exhaust, exhaust flapper removal, hand made (by me) carbon fiber pieces and a couple other pieces. In the future I want to make some more carbon fiber panels , install a rapidbike programmer, upgrade the fork cartridges (at the very least install springs for my weight or spacers for the stock springs), install a beringer or R1/R6 brembo radial master cylinder, maby some motocross bars. I have an idea for bar end sliders that mold into the OEM bark buster/hand guards. Using the kids pink playdohto show idea. The actual pieces wouldn't stick off so far, I was just completely covering the existing bar end. I might try and make some of them out of delrin depending on how ambitious I get.

I see you got rid of the center stand. Thinking of doing that myself along with the dirtbike bar upgrade. I read somewhere that dirtbike bars don't have enough space for the controls. But I measured the space on my YZ450 bars (Protaper) and there seems to be plenty of room.

70 only for the tank cover, all the pieces where like 230€.

you can ask different colours, mate, gloss, as u like.

i didn´t look that glossy when they showed me the options, but i´m liking it more and more...

if you look at my last picture, the pipe protector is real carbon.. and it looks worst..

Really **** your bike, wish I had a red frame...

Thank you. I'm very happy with is since the clutch mod. I'm going back and forth between the Strada rear pieces and the Motard rear pieces. I did a Facebook poll and it was pretty much 50/50.
