It's true these bikes have some issues but no deal breakers yet, still my favorite to ride...every time I think I might sell it, I end up riding it and then I can't...

Its been a year now, spent about big moolah on ECU and coils. Now same amount on starter and one way clutch. Think of switching to the reliable Japanese bikes but this one doesn’t go out of mind.

Sorry, lost the original thread I was looking for. I bought new Intake Manifolds based on a user posting pics of how his stacks had disintegrated. We had similar problems, same model year and I was sure mine were toast. Well, just stripped my HS down and the IM's were fine. Interestingly, the stock part was discontinued and replaced. I noticed the velocity stack on the two parts are much different. The OEM 2013's are rubber and about and inch tall. The new stacks are half that height and rigid poly material. Not sure what this means yet, just and FYI.

Short Stacks = Moves the power further up the rev ranges and are more suited for flat out sort of speeds.
Long Stacks = Move the power down the rev range and is ideal for lower speeds
Some vehicles have variable length stacks for optimum performance.
It's all to do with the tuning, manufactures are always having to alter tuning for tougher regulation on emissions on newer models, hence capacity increases to keep HP up and still meet the latest emission laws.
That's my take on it.

Been off the grid for three weeks. Exactly how long the bikes been at Marin Speed Shop. Took it in for the clutch switch malfunction and very rough running. So far they said they got a new switch but it was defective! Now over a week and no word yet! 2016 HS 939 btw.
Headlight bulb ,clutch cable, kickstand switch( ecu dash, coils..... all because of beru coils)
