Lightech Rearsets Ducati Hyperstrada 821 / Hypermotard 821

They have the info, and they are going to correct the kit. as far as spacers on the brake side, all that's really needed is a couple of thick washers.

They are adjustable. The footpegs, shifter, and brake peg have 6 different positions they can be. The shifter also has a pretty good range of adjustment in it.

How far forward can they be positioned and are the lever pegs hinged to fold to prevent damage if the bike say falls over?

The adjustment range is not too much. The pegs are drilled off center, and rotate around the bolt for the adjustment. Those little holes are what a pin from the peg goes into to lock the peg into place.

The lever tips that come with it do not fold. They do have folding tips available.

I can't afford rearsets anyway. If I could I can understand moving the feet forward on the HS. And small adjustments seem to make a big difference on motorcycles.

Dragoontwo, I like the looks of the brackets that hold the woodcraft rearsets in place - they look slimmer than the oem ones. I prefer to ride with the balls of my feet on the pegs. My main beef with the oem sets is that they splay my heels out very wide.

Questions - 1. With the woodcraft rearsets - riding with the balls of your feet on the pegs, do your heels splay outward, or can you keep your feet "straight", or even tuck in your heels slightly?

2. Is it easy to add passenger pegs with the woodcraft set, or does that version cost a lot more?

3. Are the footpegs fixed or do they fold (I can't tell from photos)?

With the stock pegs, the heel of my foot rests nicely on the upright that has the passenger peg.

You can either have your feet straight or tucked a bit with the woodcrafts.

There is no option for passenger pegs.

Footpegs are fixed.

Thanks for the details, Dragoon. I know what you mean about resting the heel on the oem upright. The angle that makes isn't quite suited to my legs, so I seek a set of rear sets to cure it.

Woodcraft looks ok, but I need passenger pegs, at least as an option.
I wish the CNC sets were more (a lot more) affordable.... oh, well
