G'day all

Put down a deposit on a new HS last week, was meant to pick it up today, but the dealer said that there is a software update for it, anyone know whats in the update ?

Have to wait another 5 days now for it, should be worth the wait though, only a couple in QLD apparently.

Welcome!
So far, the update has a 50/50 chance of burning up your ECU or killing the throttle sensor. I honestly won't get the update until I see a discription of what the update is for. I see absolutely nothing wrong with my bike's software, one of the first in FL.

Ha. Awesome.

I didn't choose to get it. The dealer rang me today a couple hours before I was due to pick it up and told me they were doing it but couldn't until tomorrow.

Didn't have a choice in the matter there

Thats not ture! It happened once and that doesn't make it 50/50....

Update

The dealer said they did an ECU update during first service. I have done a poker run two up, a trackday, and been commuting with no problem, 400 miles since update. Not sure if there is a newer update. Mine was May 16.

Just took mine in for it's 600 mile service and was told there is no updates!

i swore at least two spoke up with ECU troubles. and not many more than that have confirmed ECU upgrade.

Ahh, interesting, sorry for the late reply, been away on a road trip for 4 days.

The dealer I am getting mine from told me about the updates as of 6th of June.

Any issues, it has a warranty on it at least

Only 2 more days until i get her !

Finally picked up my bike today, first ride home in the rain, loved it !

So much nicer then my VFR, nice and easy to ride and very comfortable, pretty sure im going to love this bike !

Still fine

I am over 1600 miles now and still no problems with ECU change they made at 607 mile servicing.
