I like the look and they offer a lot of color options. I just wonder if it went wide enough to help with shoulder blast, my only complaint about current touring screen.

Can't find a price yet. The multi version costs $110 ish.
 
I think the MRA-screen is wider so it would protect your shoulders better.
I did not found it at any german distributor. I think it is "to new".
But I send emails to a few of them so we will see what they answer :)
 
mmm... DP touring screen vs Puig vs MRA. Which is the best for highway touring?
I am now using DP touring screen but unsatisfied with its effectt( I am 5'10-175cm)
 
I´m looking for something more pricey to improve the touring abilities
for my hyperstrada and the touring screen is @ about 71€ - 100$.

So its a good deal compared to the "multiregulable visor clip on" (110$) or
the original dp windshield.

Has anybody real life photos for the Puig Touring screen,
because on the website from puig is only one photo (photoshopped) and nothing from the side or riders perspective.

And perhaps somebody can write something to the abilities of the shield.

I´m about 1,85m tall and i have the problem,
that the wind edge (from the original shield) is below my helmet and therefore the helmet is extremely noisy.

Although it´s an expensive helmet and i´ve tested about 5 helmets in the 450€ price class.

The shape of that screen - narrow up top - will likely produce buffeting in a crosswind. I've had a couple of bikes with similar shields that were awful in those conditions. It does not smooth the flow like the Laminar Lip.

It does match the bike, though - more style over function.

I still haven't forgiven the guy for booting Nicky off of the Honda MotoGP team, either! :mad:
 
I have bought the Puig screen and received it today but I have not installed it yet because 1 part is missing (the part which gives stability to the bigger shield).

So the shield is not wider than the normal one but it is higher.
I will make photos tomorrow or at the weekend to compare it with the standard shield.
When the lost part arrives till the weekend I will test it.

Do you mean Alberto Puig??
ahaha :p I must say that Alberto Puig has not relationship whith the manufacturer.
Puig is a common surname in catalonia, the spanish region both they came from.
It´s like Smith or else.

I'm thinking about buying one for my holiday at the beginning of june,
because i have to drive about 1200km on the highway.

I did not mount it yet because Puig has forgotten to send the holder with it. I got only the screen and the holder will be send from Spain to me. They told me, that it will be here this week so I am looking forward that I can mount it tomorrow.
 
That´s stupid.
you are looking forward to mount the screen and test it
and then you´re waiting for one silly piece.
but they´re also humans, so they forget something, sometimes.

Hope you have the nicer weather in berlin, because we´re sinking.
It´s raining for almost a week now.

Hello fellow Hyperstrada riders,

Here are some picture to the new Puig windshield.

No comments to the flyes on my old windsreen, because the package came after a tour and i wanted to see the results.

And i have the same problem as nicewheatermanni,
the screws did not come with the screen and my dealer orders the from Puig.

But i will build myself a temporary solution today because i need it for my motorcycle holiday to sardegna.

The problem with the extreme noisy wind in my helmet is, with my height of 1,86m completely gone now.
And i think the upper torso also gets less wind.

This is the dark smoke screen and i think it really suits the strada better than stock or the higher dp shield.

After I waited 1 month for the missing part i have send back the windshield today.
5 minutes after I handeled in the windscreen the postman was ringing and brought me a small package from Spain. It was the missing part from puig :D

But it's no problem because meanwhile I bought an original high-touring windshield for less than the Puig shield so im happy now how it is :D

If the original one is crap I would buy the puig again! Style is good and it seems to be a good one!

I've just ordered a Puig Screen, I'm in Thailand, so I don't its going to arrive soon. However, just in case!!!

Hello riders,

After my Holiday in Sardegna, i´ve received the missing parts to my touring screen.

Personally i think the holding parts are really nice.

They are in black and have a small laser cutout on the sides.

But i think some people will say they are too big in the near of the Tachometer.

If someone has interest to see pictures of the mounted parts,
write back.
