Sudden engine stop

Happened to me when down shifting to 1st to slow for dog in road. Maybe engine is cutting to protect from over rev?

I experienced it 3 times on the first 200km.
I did complaint, had an ECU update and now it seems to be OK.

Regards

Downshifting past 2200rpm and lower and you are almost guaranteed to stall it. And fooling around with the throttle in neutral or at a intersection while the bike is hot.

I hope it's as easy for me. I had it stall twice just this Friday past. I was on the throttle slightly both times but at lower rpms. The first time, I thought I just didn't give enough gas but the second time, it died while the clutch was fully in, just before I started to accelerate from the lights.

Since getting mine back from dealer for unrelated work about 3 weeks ago, the idle bounces erratically when I release throttle pull clutch. Thought maybe my Grip Puppies were making throttle stick, but they weren't. It usually starts as high idle, around 2200 rpm, then drops too low, around 1200, before finally settling to normal 1500-ish. I've had it stall once when coasting to a stop.

The outside air temp has gotten quite a bit warmer. That's the only thing that has changed since dealer work, which only looked at brakes.
Pinch the clutch, the speed fluctuates between 1000-2000, or even stall, how to solve it, thank you
