I totally see what you mean. My VStrom (also a 90 degree twin) is so linear it can be boring. The Hyper with EVO module still has its character, but definitely lost the rough edgy-ness that it had before. At first I kinda went "aww" but then I realized how much better mid-corner chassis stability is as a result.
