I ride in the rain. The rule of thumb is "if it's dry when it's time to go to work then ride. Rain in the afternoon is a problem for future Tim". If that hole is plugged with crap and you spray the inside out with water then (without the hub being removed) then that water would be trapped and won't drain out. It will need to evaporate .

That's crazy amount of muck in there. With the kind of mucky environment in India, I anticipate the whole the swingarm to be filled with it.
