What performance mods have you done on the 698? Impact?

The only performance mod it the Vcyclenut air box lid and Sprint filter. Vcyclenut claims 2 HP at peak and +5 to +8 HP from 6500 to 8500; I believe it. It is obvious at 8k.

Still looking for exhaust mods. May end up modifying stock. I think I'll keep the cat.
 
Went with the termi full exhaust

Everything great, but yes, there is alot of poping and bangging on des Acel
 
small things like reduce weight just help in general - rotational mass (Lightweight sprocket) and unsprung weight (calipers)..
air-box removal and spring airfilter free up the most on a stock bike with stock cans - 76 bhp at the wheel on my bike on a dyno

People, if you want to see interesting things about our beloved 698 Mone, I cannot recommend more emphatically the Hypermotard King's Youtube channel

Only "Performance mod" has been the open air filter lid and the sprint air filter. Butt dyno feels like it has a bit more power. It might just be the plaebo effect of the various dyno charts showing major gain.

for < $100, it was worth it.
