Andreani fork cartridge installed on Hyperstrada

I called them a few months ago and they were fairly eager to see my forks - offered me a discount for being the guinea pig, too. Still thinking about it. I suspect that I could get some custom Gold Valves installed for a lot less than the Andreanis.

As I've posted before, I tend to get to a setting I like and leave it alone. So full adjustability is not all that important to me. And I've had excellent results from the kits they offer for conventional forks, have put them in just about every bike I've ever had with that type of fork.

Will follow up when I get that effing R6 off of my bench (sigh). Thing is a nightmare jigsaw puzzle compared to the Duc....nakeds rule.:D

Did you ever have Racetech do your bike???

Been using the Andreani kit for a year and a half. Ducati MPLS set my Strada up super tight, for track riding I was doing last summer. Now I have the bike in Nor Cal and it's super rigid, stiff, and uncomfortable. Going to back off current settings and see how it works. Will be 1st settings change since original install.

Also, last week I bought the SP seat for the Strada and it makes an incredible difference. I'm 6'0" and the Hyperstrada (LOW?) seat was killing my back. It also had me in a bad riding position. Anyway, HUGE improvement with the SP seat. Now just need to loosen and soften the suspension and hope it's better for riding on Nor Cal highways!

sullivjo,

Would you say the SP seat has less padding than the stocker? If you do have the Low seat, it definitely has less material. I have fitment issues and have been looking for a reason to buy a new seat but don't want to compromise the long distance comfort of the stocker.
