Any suggestions on improving the low-beam headlight on HS

One of the things I enjoy about living in California, people blocking my lane isn't an issue as I just make my own. Definitely excited for the light though as I like to be as visible as possible when splitting.

I installed a Cyclops H4. Better than stock but barely fits "adequate" in function. It looks bright when you look at it from the street, but in the saddle it just scatters and has slightly more throw than stock.

Only way to improve the stock beam is install an HID projector or slap some aux lights on the frame.

When I first put it in I had exactly the same experience. That's because the emitter isn't in the right position in the reflector - that's why I offered the tip.

The 20 gauge wire shim drops the low beam emitter into the right position, and proper height adjustment of the whole headlight module (a lot of lowering) makes it all work. Simply lowering the headlight module aim won't do the trick though.

This is not specific to the cyclops - it seems a common issue.

On back roads, my aux lights are ridiculous and plenty. But when riding in traffic you are really limited in your options. I upgraded to a brighter halogen but it's only slightly better. I may give this LED a shot. Thanks for the info about the shim.

Any Pictures of the Cyclops Installed in the housing

Do you have any pictures of the LED bulb installed in the housing? Did you have to modify the housing? I have not taken mine apart yet but the pictures I have seen and the size of the cooling fins on the LED bulbs makes me wonder how well they fit...
