I keep calling the dealers in Houston....they keep telling me they have been release and should be her any day. Come on already!

At least two more weeks....

For sure. I'm still waiting on my Hypermotard to arrive [dealer says mid April is most likely]...the only positive - in a weird sense - is the weather here has remained very cold [we're easily 3 weeks behind a typical spring temperature wise] and the riding would suck anyway.

If you're right, your first stop on your Hyper should be Vegas. Send me your sport book pics...

I called my dealer today again and the guy said they have not received any confirmation from Italy saying that the bikes are on the way.

Central Florida Info as of 4/3/13

I was just over at my dealer yesterday picking up my BMW GSA (getting warranty work/service) and spoke to the sales manager there that just so happened to come back from California where he was on a dealer junket and got to ride the 2013 Hypers. The great news is he says they are beautifully awesome bikes and not so great news is that he believes in all likelihood the bikes will not hit my area to the end of April to the first part of May.

I can't wait to see it in person and really look it over. And, find a dealer with a demo that has been un-wound somewhat so I can really get on it and see what it can do.

Love love LOVE what I have seen, read and heard so far.

Fingers crossed they will show up sooner

Matt from Cape Canaveral out..........

And then depression set in...

"end of April, early May". So says Ducati of Ocala, FL. Probably because of sequestration...

I spoke with Ocala too earlier in the week and he was waiting to hear back from the factory as to a shipping confirmation date.

I bet, regardless of who you talk to, they will say if you put a deposit down today it will get here quicker!

Dealer told me a dealer demo was in California 2 weeks ago, bikes being released/shipped by mid-month. He' expecting his at the end of April.

So, say I can't pick my bike up day it comes in. They won't demo a customer reserved bike, will they?

I asked my dealer in Ossing, NY the same question. He said they would NOT demo my bike and it would have 10 miles on it when I pick it up.

Talked to my dealer today....hyperstrada will not be into Honolulu until late May. It sure does suck to live so far away from civilization! On a positive note, he said that they are only bringing in 2 this year. The red one has my name on it. Just ordered the theft prevention package for the bike so they can install it when it comes in. Not thinking that it is a prized target for bike thieves as most of the parts are not interchangeable with other bikes and I am hoping that there will not be a huge market for stolen Hyperstradas in Honolulu...since there are only 2.
