I heard back from the dealer. It appears Ducati is doing a launch April 26. He did not know how many Hstrada he will receive. He said he will receive his demo, not sure about my bike.
 
That's about what my dealer said too. He said he would get the "Manufactures Statement of Origin" on the bikes coming in about 8 days before it hits their warehouse. Which means they get about a 8 day notice before it shows up.

Well that may be why the two dealers I have talked to said something about an "open house" one said bikes would arrive the 22nd of April which would be just in time for a shin dig the 26th"¦

I was told people with deposits have priority over all other bikes. So if they get demos before paid bikes thats kinda b.s. Thats means my dealer in michigan is lying to me. It kinda makes me question this whole extravagant purchase.

I put down a deposit on a red one today. A former colleague is hoping to buy my Bonneville this weekend, so I might be without a bike for the intervening weeks. My dealer said 15% discount on gear with purchase, there might be some other swag in the mix as well.
 
I mean I wouldn't have bought a Motard without the things that make it a Strada as much as I'd like to have two bikes I need crossover
 
I think worldwide motard sales will crush Strada. I also think the Strada market is gonna grow like sea monkeys in a bowl of meth.
 
Yeah, I had no interest in the Motard, the suspension and bags/stuff for touring has my attention. Test ride is going to be interesting. I really have nothing to loose, if I don't like it, then back to the Multi12 most likely.
 
I asked about the HyperStrada, and I quote.

"The Hyper strada will be there as well. When folks have ridden this bike they are going to love it.
Very Impressive!
I look forward to showing you the bike.

Sweet. I already put in for weeks vacation around when I expect it to arrive. Got some long country roads with my name on them. Prob be back at dealer in 3 days for 600mi service

That's good to hear!

When I talked to my dealer he said they were getting 2 of each model so 2 Stradas 2 base Motards and 2 SP Motards
