called my dealer Hall's in Springfield il. he's not sure if mine will be the 26th.if not maybe a week later. had red one ordered since dec. trading a796 monster in. getting antsy.

Talked to my dealer again today. It looks like he will have just one Hypermotard standard in Red for the premiere event and that bike will be his demo. He's hoping that my Hyperstrada in white that I ordered back in November will be here the following week.
Beware the Diavel in Sport mode. Had a firm grip on the bars and the thing nearly yanked my arms off pulling away from a stoplight...they formed that seat as a huge scoop for a reason! Sounds like a good day at the dealer, have fun

Just got an email from my dealer. There are 3 containers of Hyper's floating this way. The first contains the dealer demos and will arrive by the 26th for the unveiling. The second container will show up a week later and contains thoses that have money down on the bikes. So he is figuring the first week of May. I am guessing the third container will show up the next week.

I have heard nothing form Moto Forza here in So Cal. They said they would send a note. My last stop there they told me probably late April but hard to say with containers coming, customs etc. They indicated I might get a note when things are a week out since they can be certain at that time not wanting to give me dates that might not be right.

I reveived the same info from my dealer. It appears my bike will arrive before the end of April. I have already ordered the larger windshield. I am considering the heated grips. Cannot wait!

@Mibanez3-Did you by chance put money down on the bike? The first container to arrive has all the Demo bikes for the 26th unveiling. The second container has the presold bikes which are to show up the first week of May. The third container has the dealer stock in it and is probably a week after the second container. Have you checked in with any of the other local Ducati dealers?

It is crazy, this whole not knowing for sure when bikes are coming. I placed my order on Nov 18th, and have been paying my dealer steadily and have now paid almost $8,000. I figured I was possibly the first person to pre-order and that I would be at the top of the list. It does look like I may have my bike by the 26th, however my dealer said there still is no guarantee. He won't know until the truck shows up with it. Keeping my fingers crossed. Either way, it "should" be no longer than 2 more weeks.
