That sounds a bit odd making payments on a bike you don't physically have yet. Do you have a contract or something saying he'll refund in total if you don't want it? Actually, if you're not paying any interest it's genius.

It's actually the result of selling some things on Craigs list (rototiller, outboard motor, canoe etc.) Every time I would get cash from a sale I would just give it to the dealer before I spent it. :) And yes, the dealer would give me my money back if I wanted, but if the HyperStrada isn't the right fit for me, I will get MultiStrada.
 
i called my dealer today and they told me they were expecting the hyperstradas to be delivered between mid may to the end of may. so i called a different dealer and the sales guy told me he just had one white hyperstrada delivered today as his demo bike, he talked to his boss and he is going to sell it to me but i would have to pay full price. sice the bike came in today it has not been ridden yet. so i guess ill be picking up my hyper tomorrow morning. ill keep you guys posted.

I was hoping that maybe I would hear from my dealer today, didn't happen...maybe tomorrow...please!

I like your beaches, though. Like, how tops are kinda optional anywhere.

and I hate you for being first in FL for owning a Strada. so jealous. Congrats!

and even maybe the first one in the US. the dealer is selling me their demo so they wont have one for their intro on FRI/SAT... maybe you can hustle your dealer into selling you theirs.

I received my VIN today. Looks like within the week is a real possibility. Anyone going to the launch event? I cannot. Camping with my son.
 
I'm not going to the demo either, it's a 3 hour drive. I would rather wait until mine comes in. The dealer might get mad if I loaded his demo into my truck. :D
 
My dealer called today, he has one that will be available for viewing after noon tomorrow, it is sold to another but I could stop by and see it except that he's an hour away and I won't have time. I will be at the grand release on Friday and we'll have to see about demo rides Saturday.
 
Well, just called my dealer. He received two bikes today. One red HyperMotard that will be his demo bike, and one SP that will go to the first person with the money to buy it. My White HyperStrada???? Maybe next week???? I am bummed to not have it for this nice New England weekend we have coming.
