I had this update done last wed the 23rd.
On the ride home I noticed that the throttle has a more cable operated feel to it in touring mode. However in sport mode it feels more aggressive than ever lol:D
Didn't notice much change with urban mode, maybe a little smoother.

Prior to this update i did notice that the red warning light in the center of the dash had started to illuminate intermittently for no reason whilst riding. (it would just flash on for a second) I thought i was imagining it at 1st.

See ' Limp mode'
After my bike's 4e update the traction control is blinking very often.
Dealer had contact with Ducati, they dont no the problem so there is also no solution to this problem.

Cannot set clock

I love my Hyperstrada. Best bike ever. About a month ago, I rode 70km to my Ducati dealer for an oil change and a software update. They did the work and told me that it did not require an update. I reset the clock and rode home and everything seemed fine. The next night, while gassing up, I reset the trip meter. The Hyperstrada would not start. The dash would light up and it would make that cool pre-start sound, but the starter button did nothing.
I eventually called Ducati roadside assistance. They towed it up to another (closer) dealer. The mechanic spent an hour trying to start it before updating the software, then it fired right up. It runs great again, and I have a new mechanic. However, I can no longer reset the clock! The only option that I can select on clock menu page is "exit". Has anyone else experienced this?

That's really weird. I tried to set my clock yesterday. I can't do it. There is just the exit button. Would be interested in finding out. I have had the first service done and a full system exhaust added. I have the SP.

I could have sworn that after my most recent update that I lost the ability to set the clock, but I went back to the manual and was able to do it. I just don't remember it bring this way before.

Button 4 is the turn signal cancel button. Button 2 is the 'down' button.

Clock setting function (CLOCK) This function allows setting the clock. To display this function, access the Setting Menu and select the "CLOCK" page. To access the setting page, keep button (4) pressed for 3 seconds. After this time, the "SETTING..." indicator will be enabled to confirm that the setting page is active. On entering this mode, the message “AM” will flash;

- if you press button (2) "PM" flashes; - if you press button (2) you will return to the previous step (if it is 00:00, when switching between “AM” to “PM”, 12:00 will be displayed);.

Pressing button (4) gives access to the hour setting mode; hours start to flash;

- each time you press button (2), the count will increase cyclically in steps of one hour; - if button (2) is held pressed, the count will increase cyclically in steps of one hour every second (when the button is held depressed, the hours do not flash).

Pressing button (4) gives access to the minutes setting mode; minutes start to flash;

- each time you press button (2), the count will increase cyclically in steps of one minute; - if you hold button (2) pressed, the count will increase cyclically in steps of 1 minute every second. - If button (2) is held depressed for over 5 seconds, minutes will increase by 1 minute every 100 ms (while button (2) is held depressed, seconds will not flash).

To confirm (store) the new time setting, press button (4). The "EXIT" indicator will be automatically highlighted; press button (4) to quit this page and go back to the setting menu.

Just got a letter from Ducati notifying of ECU update for North America. Had a couple stalls and a couple limp mode start ups, but never stranded.

MyFirst Duc, Question: was the tow and service covered by Duc roadside? Or did you have to pay for service?

Yes. The tow and service was covered by Ducati. I was glad to have the Ducati Owner card in my wallet. A motorcycle towing company came and gave me great service. Since it was at night, the truck driver have me a ride home, then took my bike to his garage and to the shop the next morning.

Damn. I should've done that when I had my blowout. Maybe they wouldn't have covered cost of new tire swap but it would have saved me all kinds of trouble getting her on the trailer and driving almost 2 hrs to dealer...

pull the battery leads? battery have a charge? does starter motor turn?

pass as many details as possible and maybe we can help.

Sorry. To much on my mind. The damned thing was In gear with stand down. Was thinking about all the work I had to do.

School boy error. Glad I'm on my way now.

Re: clock reset. Thanks! That worked. Strange menu-engineering. Should have looked it up myself.
