that's a good tire repair kit.

normally, bikes come with a tool kit that allow you to adjust all the suspension parts, screw driver tool and a SPANNER! My Kawi and Yamaha were universal tools that had adapters for most general tools, with a spanner adapter. Couldn't believe the Strada didn't come with a cheapo spanner in the kit.

I don't much love the CO2 bottles. I have a small electric pump that's about the same size as the set of bottles that I like. It was especially nice to have when I was doing more forest road riding. I could air down for the gravel and ruts, then air back up when I hit pavement again.

Hmm. Nice idea. Thanks for the cue.

Plus, if you're in a situation where you got a flat, maybe the odds are good that you'll get another. After you used the CO2 on the first flat, then what?

This is not the pump I have, but I like it's size.

I have the one they sell in Target under a number of different brand names. I think mine says 'Slime'.

Awesome! Thanks bud. :) Slime? lol funny name.

I like to build tool kits and always like to see what everyone thinks are important tools. Traveling so far from civilization does make self reliance more important. A twenty pound tool roll is not unreasonable.

Tire repairs are a high probability so I pack a small air compressor, plug kit and extra glue. Glue reduces the insertion force compared to a dry plug. Also carry the socket head wrenches for all the handlebar controls. I plan to replace the tamperproof torx on the throttle ctls with a regular sockethead at the first opportunity.

Larger, maybe duplicate, socketheads for the engine mounts.

Boxend wrenches for the foot controls and rear axle pinchbolts. Chain adjustment spanner and aluminum axle socket. 3/4 inch pullover handle and a cheater if you want to remove the rear wheel.

Consider a SPOT satélite device to call for help/rescue.

'Slime' plus a 12V inflator is all that Mazda gave us with our MX-5...plus a jack and lug wrench.

The only problem with these goops is that they make an awful mess for the guy who changes the (tubeless) tire. In an inner tube, no problem.

just bought this little emergency puncture repair kit,
hoping not to use it, but nice to know its there.

I've posted this before but just stumbled on this thread:

4mm allen wrench to remove fairing. They include a 3 and a 5 but not a 4 - must be an italian thing. Remove lower fairing bolt - it has a 24 mm "reach behind" nut that's a pain in the ***. Just take it off.

Spare fuses - the fuse boxes may have spares but don't count on them being the right values.

In general - don't worry about the weight of the kit - bring what you think you need and what you can fit. The bike has 110hp - if your kit weighs 10lbs who cares.
