Given the imminent release, I am surprised there doesn't appear to be any reviews of the HS.....is Ducati keeping things quiet for a reason? I would think there would have been tons of press events by now?

I think most of the big publications consider the Motard as representing entire line. Most of the Motard reviews just mention the Strada as an option in the reviews.

Might be Duc's bad for not pushing more Strada's out to journalists.

i have just had a test of the hypersrada (without panniers on) and it is more relaxed to ride the the original hypermotard 1100 (I have one in my garage) but not really a touring bike like the multistrada.
though i have still decided to trade my touring bike (triumph tiger 800) in for one.
will be getting bike 1st week in may.
Low height model ordered (with low seat) as the standard to slightly high for me (i am 5'7" tall and could not get feet flat on ground)

I currently have a Honda st1300....looking for something a little lighter that will still allow for 2up and thought the Hyperstada would do the trick.

I think reviews will appear next week or the week after because I heard from a journalist the y will have an introduction this week in Corsica (France)!

I have also been following the fortunes of BMW's new F800GT, which at least on paper seemed to be in the same market segment as the H'strada. The level of interest and impatience on the part of the GT Forum readers was even greater than I've seen here - there was a lot of world-wide anticipation. The first GTs went on sale in different markets about a month ago (I had my test-ride then) but to-date, to the best of my knowledge, only one reasonably-detailed review has been published in the motorcycling press - and that was here in Oz!

So - be patient, guys - it will happen: and in any case by far the best and most reliable review is the one you will make yourself after that first look at and ride on the bike!

Already one picture from the pressintroduction in Corsica last weekend. This time it was good weather.

I think he's talking about the engine guard that looks all scratched. And the center stand looks like its not too far from dragging

I take that back!! The pannier does look ripped. I dont think you can lean the bike enought to touch the panniers without low siding.

Yep, must have laid it down, held up pretty well looks like. Course depends on how fast he was going. I heard there was one that looped it when wheeling.

I need a job writing for a mag!

Wait so this guy dumped it on BOTH sides?? How does he still have a job?
The mags are full of sh** anyway, can't get their facts straight and most are paid by the manufacturers! Go to your local dealer and ride a demo

hopefully he can accurately relay where the "limit" is. Dude, I don't want to imagine what happens to a sport tourer that drags a bag on the asphalt. I just see one of those awful snap low-sides that spins the bike out like turbo from Breakin' II.

Last post a month ago and just checked the magazine racks yesterday... Still nothing...
